Collapse ▲Below are results of two trials comparing Xtendflex cotton varieties to several commercial standards conducted by Dr. Alan York. All of these varieties may not be commercially available. From what I understand at this point, DP 1518 B2XF and DP 1522 B2XF will be available for shorter-season markets and DP 1538 B2XF and DP 1553 B2XF for mid- to full-season markets. It appears that three of these varieties will be available in North Carolina, most likely 1518, 1522 and 1538. Americot and DynaGro may also have an Xtendflex variety available this year.
