The 2025 NC Cotton Field Day is only one week away, and we have full schedule of new research to showcase. The field day is scheduled for Thursday, September 11th, 2025, at the Upper Coastal Plains Research Station in Rocky Mount (2811 Nobles Mill Pond Rd, Rocky Mount NC 27801). This event is sponsored by the NC Cotton Producers Association, NC State University, N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and several industry partners that are listed in the final program below.
Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m., which will include several guest speakers. The field tours will begin at 1:15 p.m. with two concurrent tours from the NC State Extension Cotton Team, showcasing the latest research supported by NC Cotton Producers Association and Cotton Incorporated, to help address challenges facing NC cotton farmers. The same tours will be offered again at 3:15 p.m. so that all attendees can experience both tours. The final program for the 2025 NC Cotton Field Day can be found in the link below. The tours will conclude at 5:00 p.m. with Howling Cow ice cream. This event has been well-attended in the past, and we anticipate a good crowd again this year.
