Syngenta recently announced they will discontinue the sale of Gramoxone SL 3.0 on December 31, 2026. Gramoxone SL 3.0 contains paraquat which is routinely used for preplant burndown weed control prior to planting many crops. The company will continue to sell the herbicide at current pricing while supplies last or until the aforementioned date, whichever comes first. It has yet to be determined what this news means for sales of generic paraquat products so stay tuned and plan accordingly.
